The Horizon of the Soul – The Light in the Storm.

I paint completely intuitively, and I never know what I am painting until it is finished. It is as if I am opening myself to a greater force working through me. In the painting process I disappear completely; I forget time and space, and let myself be guided by the energies that flow. Only when the painting is finished do I take a step back, look and feel. Then I find the title – not with my head, but with my heart, based on the energy and expression that has emerged.

In this painting, a silent but powerful journey unfolds – a transition between light and dark, between the visible and the invisible. Like a reflection of the soul's journey, the energies dance across the canvas, undulating like a cosmic tide.

The dark foreground can symbolize the trials of life, the inner storms that tear and struggle within us, where shadows from the past weave into the present. Yet, through this chaos, there is a golden stream of light that cuts through the darkness – a reminder that even in the most turbulent times, there is a way forward.

The sky seems to breathe in shades of blue, green and gold, as if the universe itself is whispering wisdom to the listener. The gold streaks that wind through the image resemble energy pathways, connections between our physical existence and the infinite consciousness that lies beneath.
